According to Hamburg's Dutch captain, Rafael Van der Vaart, in an interview published in 'Sport Bild', Bayern Munich has "no chance" against Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
"One player separates Bayern and Barcelona: Messi," Van der Vaart said. He knows the club well having played them during his two seasons at Real Madrid (2008-2010).
"When Bayern meet Barça in the semi-finals, they will have only 30 percent of the ball possession. Barcelona has a simply unbelievable system. They always have the ball. Bayern has no chance," the Dutch midfielder stated.
Van der Vaart believes that the presence of two German teams in the Champions League semi-finals shows that the Bundesliga "has reached new heights this season and is currently the world's most interesting League".
